On Longing Sentence 1: "The body is the primary mode of perceiving scale." This photo was taken in Asheville, North Carolina, where I had experienced environmental scales that as I was not used to the as I'm from Florida. The city was painted with murals that worked with the local scale of the many hills along with perception and created an illusionary view.  Sentence 2:  "The souvenir exists as a sample of the now distanced experience, an experience which the object can only evoke and resonate." At home, I went to the Mountain Film Festival every November with my mother.
